PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Cement concrete is a hard rigid surface structure. Paving materials are required to  have good resistance to reflective stresses for the concrete overlays. Similar to steel decks, epoxy asphalt polymer concrete is the best paving material to meet the performance requirement in thin layer surfacing structures.
EP-308 is a formulated product based on low modulus grade liquid epoxy asphalt resins. It has very good flexibility and mechanical properties for use as a binder for polymer concretes.


APPLICATIONS

COOLBOND® EP-308 is a flexible, low modulus epoxy asphalt binder for cold mixed, polymer concrete pavement applications. The product has relatively long operation time and excellent fatigue resistance property, suitable for rigid surface overlays. It is the ideal paving system for upgrading cement concrete roads to asphalt concrete surfaces.

APPLICATION GUIDE


1. Mix Part A and Part B of the product at a ratio of 2.5 (A): 1 (B)
2. Apply the mixture to the designated area immediately.
3. Spread the mixture evenly and avoid air bubbles from occurring
4. The mixture must be used up within the operation time.
5. Clean up the unused products.
